Terms & Conditions — Livio Video Chat

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Livio Live ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Livio Live.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Livio Live.
• You must confirm your age during registration. Providing a false age is grounds for immediate account termination.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create more than one account. Duplicate accounts may be banned.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Livio Live to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any user.
• Post, stream, or transmit nudity, sexually explicit content, or sexually suggestive behavior.
• Share, create, or solicit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or engage in any conduct that exploits minors — this results in an immediate permanent ban and report to law enforcement.
• Promote or engage in violence, self-harm, terrorism, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
• Impersonate another person, create fake profiles, or misrepresent your identity.
• Send spam, scam other users, phish, or engage in any fraudulent activity.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful software.
• Sell, solicit, or advertise products, services, or external links without authorization.
• Record, screenshot, or redistribute another user's video or audio without their explicit consent.
• Circumvent any moderation, safety, or technical measures implemented by Livio.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

Violations are enforced through warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. See our Content Policy for detailed enforcement tiers.

4A. AI Chat & AI Companions

• Livio offers AI Chat features where you converse with AI-generated characters. These characters are fictional and machine-generated — they are not real people.
• AI responses are automatically generated and may be inaccurate. They do not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
• You must not use AI Chat to generate, request, or attempt to produce prohibited content, including CSAE, sexually explicit material involving minors, illegal, or harmful content. Such attempts result in an immediate permanent ban and may be reported to authorities.
• AI conversations are subject to automated safety moderation.
• Livio is not liable for AI-generated output or for any reliance you place on it.
• Custom AI characters you create are for personal use and must comply with this agreement and our Content Policy.

5. Virtual Currency (Coins)

• Livio Live offers virtual coins that can be purchased through Google Play Store in-app purchases.
• Coins are used to access premium features including gender filters, virtual gifts, and priority matching.
• Coins are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no real-world monetary value.
• Coins cannot be exchanged for cash, traded between users, or redeemed outside the Service.
• Unused coins remain in your account until used or your account is deleted.
• We reserve the right to modify coin pricing, packages, and the features they unlock at any time.
• Promotional or bonus coins may have an expiration date and cannot be refunded.

6. Subscriptions

• Livio may offer subscription plans (e.g., Livio Plus, Livio Premium) with enhanced features.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Google Play Store account settings.
• Cancellation stops future charges; your subscription benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.

7. Live Streaming and Recorded Video

• Livio may offer live streaming features where users can broadcast to an audience.
• All live streams must comply with our Content Policy. Violations during a live stream result in immediate termination of the stream and potential account action.
• You may upload a recorded video introduction. This video is clearly labeled as "Recorded" to other users and may be shown during offline matching.
• You may not present recorded or pre-recorded video as a live, real-time interaction. Recorded videos and Replays are always labeled as recorded; misrepresenting them as live is prohibited.
• By uploading content, you grant Livio Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the Service.
• You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time.

8. Virtual Gifts

• Users may send virtual gifts to other users during video calls or live streams using coins.
• Gifts are digital expressions with no monetary value and are non-refundable once sent.
• Gift recipients may earn rewards or platform credit based on gifts received, subject to Livio's host/creator program terms (if applicable).

9. User Content

You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, or transmit through the Service. Livio Live does not endorse user content and is not liable for it. We may remove content that violates our policies without prior notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All Livio Live branding, logos, designs, software, and proprietary content are owned by Livio Live and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, our Content Policy, or any applicable law.
• Severe violations (CSAE, violence, threats) result in immediate permanent ban without warning.
• You may delete your account at any time via the app (Me → Settings → Delete Account).
• Upon termination, you lose access to your account, coins, subscription benefits, and all associated data.
• Coins and subscription time remaining at the time of termination for policy violations are forfeited and non-refundable.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, and you use the Service at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Livio Live shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Livio Live, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association in our operating jurisdiction. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class arbitration.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of our operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
